Why it matters ## Silence is not reassurance. 92% produced no statement, no journalism and no legal activity 3 of 182 said anything themselves 35% of domains checked were carrying exposed credentials Measured in issue 007 across the 182 organisations we could assess, checked between one and seven days after each was listed. The level is not a one-off. Across issues 005 to 007, roughly nine in ten listed organisations produce no public account inside a week, and credential exposure has run between 34% and 42% since issue 003. If one of them is your supplier, the listing is the only notice you are likely to get. How we work ## Every figure is sourced. - **Built from outside.** No supplier has to cooperate, and no client data ever appears in it. - **Where we interpret rather than measure, we say so.** A listing is a publication, not a break-in. - **When our method is wrong, we publish the correction.** Twice now we have withdrawn our own finding in the issue that followed it. Once for a search that understated the result, once for an effect that did not hold up the next week. Both are set out in the issues themselves, not in a footnote. Archive ## Read the previous editions. Two corrections apply when reading these. Issues 001 to 004 were produced before we corrected how we measure public disclosure, so their disclosure figures understate the result and should not be compared with later issues. That correction is set out in issue 005. Issue 005 also reported that a listing became more visible as it aged, which did not hold the following week and was withdrawn in issue 006.
